FAQ
- What are your Candles made from?
- I have just received my first wood wick candle. How should I burn it?
Wood wick candles can take a bit more perseverance than a cotton wick but they create a much more atmospheric burn.
When you have received your candle, your first burn is the most important. Aim to burn for at least 4 hours on the first use or until your wax has melted to the edge of the jar. This will help to ensure you get an even burn and make the most out of your candle. If your wick burns out on the first use, ensure you relight it until you have created a full burn pool.
It's also important to make sure you trim your wick in between uses. You can usually do this by simply snapping off the charred wick until it is between 1-3mm in length. This helps to ensure your flame stays at a safe height and your wax burns evenly.

- How do I care for my Candle?
Caring for your Candle is so important. Our Candles are the perfect addition to your home decor, however if you do wish to burn them, please ensure the following points are considered. Remove any packaging. Trim the wick to 5mm before burning & place your candle on a heat safe surface, away from any flammable items. Never leave your candle burning unattended, nor leave it in direct sunlight or near heat. But most of all, ENJOY!

- Why are my Candles showing slight frosting?
Frosting is the common term for "polymorphism" as describes the white coasting that appears on Soy Candles. Frosting is a perfectly natural effect of using Soy wax, it's the natural wax re-crystallizing.
Most frosting can be removed by gently rubbing with a warm cloth or with your finger.
